<p>well i didn't get rejected but i got waitlisted and i got rejected from USC. I opened the mailbox and saw two small envelopes from USC and NYU and I knew it was bad news...:(</p>

NYU was my first choice school, now it looks like I'll be at U of Maryland next year......</p>

<p>well, I judge an organization by how it treats people that want to be part of it, and to have letters show up days late is just wrong</p>

<p>And to just invite a few for programs is also wrong</p>

<p>citygirlsmom you sound a little bitter. If you don't like NYU don't post here. Nyu is a great university and getting better with each year. Letters being late is nonsense, this just the FIRST mail delivery day post April 1. Try and be objective.</p>

<p>haha omg telll me about it..the day u want the frickin mailman to come early he doesnt!! mine cam an hr and a half late!!!! i saw him on the other side of the street but he had to go all the way down first and then turn around...longest 30 min of my life!</p>

I was expecting a rejection but it still makes me depressed
four rejections/waitlists in a row lol</p>

<p>waitlisted (STERN) today in the mail. with a 1480/1600 2130/2400, 3.9uw, good SAT IIS, great essay and decent ec's, rank 5/70. Was expecting an acceptance, but after reading all this invite business that I did not get, kinda turned my hopes my down. Still got into tufts (which i thought would be much harder to do than NYU), bc, and I already enrolled at UTaustin (business) instate 3 days ago. Didnt want to wait for this stupid NYU bs.</p>
