People who have taken AP Stats...?

I had the misfortune of having my TI-83+ stolen at the end of junior year (the day of my Precal final, actually) and now I am trying to decide what calculator to get for next year. What calculator is the most helpful for AP Stats?

prob the successor to the ti-83+, ti-84+silver

TI-83 Silver

I would get a TI-89 Titanium, but if you're getting it only for Stats, then don't get it. It's hard to use the Statistics programs, for many anyhow.

I used my TI-84 and it worked great. It even has a few extra statistics things on there that TI-83s don't.

ti89.........has errthing for calc and stat

I had an 83+ and it does just fine. All you need is something that you can use so you might not want to upgrade to something more confusing.

I definitely know how to use my TI-83+ well, so that is a plus. However, are there any features on other calculators that are absolutely essential to AP Stat/SAT2 IC?

apstat has all those binomial distributions and 2 sample t test programs on it.
I cant imagine doing all that stuff by hand.
satii is a precalc test so sin cos and that stuff

hands down the TI-84. Although you can do everything on the 89, the 84 is MUCH MORE USER FRIENDLY and does everything quickly.

83+ for CalcBC and Stats this year... they were good enough.
