I noticed a lot of people who chance other people make their own chance threads.....if you can't figure out chances of getting into a college for yourself, how the heck would you know the chances for others? sure, you can make some comments and insights (such as "work more on your EC's", or "write good essays"), but not to the extent where you can say, "no you have no chance, apply RD instead of ED blah blah blah." Saying this kind of stuff to people will actually affect their decisions, did you know that? So if you are ignorant, please leave chance threads to people who are actually knowledgeable.

...and apparently leave the simplistic, preachy ramblings to fasteddie? (i say this as someone who never comments on others chances btw)

really adidas? apparently your history of posts doesn't say so.

and i'm sorry if i came off as preachy and rambly and simplisic, (as how you judged me), but i just don't want other people to give false impressions to the chancers.

I would say your chances are high for not succeeding in life.

Even though Eddie could have been more careful with his wording, I think he brings up a very valid point.

yea, eddie does bring up a good point....just don't be preachy.

People who respond to chances threads should post with their replies how sure they are that what they're saying is correct.

For instance,

chances post

You have a very small chance at UCLA. Try applying to USD. (I am 60% sure)

how do you create a percentage? YOu're pretty much making up numbers then.

Try this site its really use ful. Go to **************** dot com. They give you teh statistics

True, but it's better than nothing. Or instead of percentages, they could use the gradations "very sure," "pretty sure," "unsure," etc.
