People who still haven't heard back

Are there people who still havent heard back after today? My status changed to "acted on" 3/29, so I'm guessing thats when it was postmarked...i guess it takes a long time for the rejection letter to be sent... =(

Yeah mine is still "in review" since the 27th....my friend got his rejection letter that lives a couple miles from me...and it's STILL not here on wednesday...I guess it does take a realllly long time for the rejection to come :-/

i havent heard back yet. live in china.

i also havent heard back, and i was "acted upon" on 3/29...

I was also "acted upon" on the 29th -- I have yet to hear back. I live in Ohio. I'm guessing they sent it (the rejection) through basic mail.

even if they sent it basic mail on 3/28, it would have gotten there today, at the ABSOLUTE latest...

No, because they did send some out on Monday. So the rejections wouldn't be here yet.

I would probably get a letter if it was sent regular mail from USC in one day considering I live an hour away... I heard EVERYTHING was sent regular mail this time?

S is still "in review". No mail in Texas today.

^^ timely you gave me hope :-D Hopefully it is true that they have sent everything through regular mail. Only time will tell what the decision is...

No mail in NY. D acted on 3/29

what i'm guessing is that they sent some "acted on 3/29" people along with the "acted on 4/1" people on the 31st, when they apparently sent the last ones out.

my older daughter was told that the decision was mailed on the 28th...no mail delivery yet. we are 25 minutes away from sc.

I was "acted upon" March 29th and haven't heard anything. I live in Texas. =/ Someone else from Texas already got rejected yesterday, but nothing for me even though we live in the same city.

Same situation for me Nickel....and I'm all the way across the country...I don't think they mailed 'everything' out on Friday...they probably finished up reviewing and made there decisions by that date and then have been mailing them out since friday in batches...it would make sense since they said something about decisions being mailed on monday

Your hope could be misplaced, musicislife. I am thinking S will be rejected. I know he did not get the "acted on" on 3/29, but still...he would be pretty borderline on his stats (SAT 2160, UW GPA 3.56...yeah, I know). His EC's are extremely good, I think, and his essays seemed really good, too. It's okay though; he always knew USC was a long shot.

Or maybe our rejections were lost in the mail. -_-

I don't think they would have lost that many letters. Obviously they didn't mail out some letters that were supposedly sent on the 28th... Not sure why they would said they were sent if they weren't.

I don't understand it either, but I have a bad feeling about it.

I STILL haven't heard anything either and I'm in SoCal. A kid in my class got his rejection letter a couple days back...so I have a twinge of hope that mine is only taking this long because it isn't a rejection like his.
