A question I have is that in the email it says “This year’s applicant pool was exceptionally competitive, as we reviewed over 11,800 truly remarkable applications for approximately 880 openings” does that mean that out of those 11,800 applications they expect to admit about 880, or that they only offered admission to 880 of them?

Offered admission for the spring 2017! I don’t know how to feel about this!
International Students (China)
Pepperdine is actually my first choice! Does anyone know am I still considered for the wait-list for Fall 2016 or not?

ACT" 31
GPA" 3.4
A lot of ECs
I showed a lot of interests via emails and visited multiable times. I also had a great time talking to the admission staff on the phone for over 40 minutes!

Go Waves!

@kingx16 they hope to fill up all 880 openings by accepting way more people than that. they have a 35% acceptance rate, which means that they accepted about 4,000 people today and about 880 of those people will choose to go

@hellokitty679 okay thank you! What would they do if they expect to fill about 880 applications but say 1,000+ decide to go to Pepperdine?

@kingx16 ya i kinda wondered that as well. this actually answers both of our questions exactly
