Received the same confirmation email that my application had been completed, along with a separate email w/the app tracker.
Am I missing it, or does Pepperdine not have a portal for admission status set up? It’s just the application tracker, right? I assume when they send out decision emails they will take you to a link that gives the decision? Or are they in the email itself? Every other school D has applied to has a separate portal where the decision will be, and usually includes application checklist items as well.
Hey @UTSquared! you will get a email notification in the next week thru Pepperdine University, it will be the decision letter. This will take place either Friday or Saturday. (It’s always the third Friday of the month of March) if it’s west coast time, the email should come in between 9am-4pm. Just keep updating your email. There is no portal. Just an email. A couple days later, you will receive an email letting you know about your scholarship and how much you will get. I really hope your daughter gets in! Best of luck to you both!
@Kms1737 Thank you so much, that really couldn’t be more helpful.
I didn’t get a second email confirming my application is complete. Did everyone get this? I wonder if that is a bad sign.
@and2018 - If you check the app tracker (found in one of the emails sent to you), it should show whether you have completed the required items. If anything is under the “incomplete,” then you might need additional documents sent.
If everything is complete, then they may send a confirmation later? Or may be in your junk mail?
whats up all just signed up to cc and pretty nervous about the decision this friday! hope you guys doing too dont be too nervous
Saw the early decisions page as well and was frightened I missed out on it- could’ve sworn as well this didn’t apply to this year’s admissions. Phew!
I didn’t get a second email either…hoping it’s not bad news. Does anyone also know what time it’s coming out?
Last year it came out a little before noon PST I think. When posting if you’re accepted or rejected everyone should post whether you got 0,1, or 2 emails so we can see if there’s any correlation. Of course it won’t matter at that point but I’m still a little curious
My daughter didn’t get another email, either. She thinks is was based on when you submitted your application. She submitted hers very early, and got an email in December or January - much later than when she submitted the original application. Who knows, but sounds like a good theory. lol
I thought regular decision was April1?
Hello everyone! My name is Rebekah and I am anxiously awaiting the decisions from Pepperdine to be sent out! From what I read everyone is saying that decisions are typically sent out the 3rd Friday in March, does that mean they are expected to come this Friday?!
Hey @beckahmitts_! Yes, the decision will come out this Friday. Keep updating your email on Friday anywhere from 9am to 5pm, (if you live on the west coast. If you live on the east coast, check from 11am to 8pm) to see the results. I hope you get in, best of luck to you!
Hey @alexisg! Decisions from Pepperdine University will be sent out this Friday. You will be sent an email anywhere from 11am-8pm (east coast) or 9am-5pm (west coast) keep updating your email throughout the day. Good luck to you! I hope you get in!
@Kms1737 oh my goodness yay! So excited okay perfect thank you so much! I’m from Washington and have been eagerly awaiting the decision for months! Can’t wait for Friday!
@BekahMitts_ I’m so happy that your excited. Ive been looking forward to the results for a long time as well. Let me know if your accepted. Can’t wait for Friday! >:D<
@Kms1737 Hey I just have another question, I went on the pepperdine website for housing and it said that roomate requests and priority deadline contracts are due on Friday. Does this mean we will find out sooner since that is the deadline? Like tomorrow or possibly Thursday? Or do you just have to fill out the forms immediately after being accepted on Friday?
Thanks for the help!
@BekahMitts_ I think that must be for non-1st year.
Hey @BekahMitts_! @disney4cam is correct about the deadline for the housing. If you are a first year student, you will be able to pick your own roommate. Pepperdine does a online match for you where you can select your bio and search the perfect roommate for you. Then go along and message the potential roommate, to see if you have things in common and if will get along. (Kind of like a dating website, lol) Also, you have more time to figure out housing. Pepperdine will lead you thru all of the steps along the way. Friday is just about the decisions going out to all the applicants who applied to Pepperdine.
