I am waiting to hear back from other schools. But as of now, Pepperdine is my first choice. How about you? @Mahavidya
Same. I’m hearing back from my reach schools in the spring, and if I get accepted I’ll go to one of those (Princeton is my dream school!!) but otherwise I’m going to Pepperdine. It’s a pretty great backup if you ask me.
I am in the same position. (not Princeton, but similar schools). And yes, it is a great backup. I would love to go! What’s your major?
At Pepperdine I would major in History with a minor in Italian Studies. How about you?
Business Administration.
A useful degree. Where else are you considering besides Pepperdine?
Well, I have been accepted into Chapman and Fordham. I am awaiting decisions from USC, NYU, UCB, UCLA, UCI, Stanford and Columbia. How about you?
I’ve been accepted to TCU and this Friday I’m expecting to be admitted to UMiami. This spring I’ll hear back from Northwestern, Duke, UPenn, UChicago, UVA, W&L, Stanford, Yale, and Princeton. I have a lot of reach schools, but I’m hoping that just means more opportunities to be admitted.
Hahah that was my thinking too. Good luck! Let me know about Miami!
Does anyone know if people got rejected from EA or just deferred?
@ilovepepperdine I feel like I read a post in this thread written by someone who had been rejected, but most were probably deferred.
@aag2019 Miami released yesterday. I got accepted, but their financial aid isn’t great, so I think Pepperdine is still my first choice until I hear back from the others in March.
I got Fordham financial aid today. It is basically a joke. So Pepperdine is looking more likely ( I like it better anyway). It is gonna be a long wait til March. Good luck!
The end of March is only two months away. I’m guessing it will simultaneously feel like eternity and like a blink of an eye. I can’t believe I’m this close to graduating and yet it still seems like forever from now, you know?
I agree. I’m just glad it is finally Feb. January felt like the longest month ever. We are almost there. Hold on. And once the school year ends, it is going to be another long wait until school starts and we can actually go to the schools we worked so hard to get into.
I’m actually really excited to start college in the fall. Summer will be fun and all, spending the last bit of time with my family and preparing to move to my dorm and whatnot, but I am ready to get to the next phase of life. Until then I guess I’ll have to try to just live in the moment and make the most of the months that come first.
