Princeton's campus was ranked as the nation's second most beautiful. The following was stated of Princeton:

"2. Princeton University (Princeton, New Jersey)
Students at Princeton know they've got a good thing going. The school's "amazing resources, world-class professors," and "beautiful architecture" make it a plum choice for students seeking a well-rounded college experience. From gargoyles perched on various campus buildings to a faculty room modeled after the British House of Commons, Princeton is the epitome of old-world learning in historically inspired splendor."

I have...(from LA as well) very different but equally beautiful. Princeton is 'old world' beautiful and the buildings are gorgeous, whereas Pepperdine has a breathtaking setting...looking out over malibu. (beach is right there.) but it doesn't have the history that princeton has.

I don't even understand Princeton's #2 rating. (Don't kill me!) I love the school, but the campus... I don't know. It's just a campus. Above average, of course, but nothing special. Princeton has other things to worry about... like, you know, academics.

i live five minutes away from pepperdine and can attest to its beauty. It has the biggest, greenest lawn i have ever seen + nice buildings. the only thing that annoys me is the gigantic cross (i am jewish)
