Hey guys!
I was wondering if there were others applying to transfer to Pepperdine for the fall semester this year.
Me Me Me! I got accepted to Pepperdine
Did the transfer decisions already come out??
@JOON0905
@transferready yeah! On 3/20. Did you receive any email from Pepperdine?
@JOON0905 I didn’t get anything from Pepperdine
Maybe I should give them a call
Got accepted! Wondering if transfers dorm with other transfers??
@transferready Do give them a call!
@JOON0905 I called them on yesterday and I got the issue resolved. I should know my admission decision soon!
Did any of you guys get scholarships by any chance? I could only attend Pepperdine if I get a significant amount of merit/financial aid
I was reading on another thread that some people got notified about it.
I got in!
I got in as a transfer via email on 03/20!
I’m just wondering where transfers live? Are there specific dorms for us? I wouldn’t want to live off campus and still want to get the full college experience. I’m 20 if anyone is wondering.
@jonuni94 I transferred into Pepp in Fall 2014! We got guaranteed on-campus housing, and were able to choose between a traditional dorm house (you have a roommate and share a floor with 6 other people) or a full apartment. Hope that helps!
@bking13 Really appreciate the response! Awesome. Would you recommend any specific on-campus housing?
Also, were you on a floor with freshman/seniors/etc?
hi. I attend a community college in LA. can any of you guys who got accepted give me your gpa, majors and any scholorships you applied for. I would really love to attend pepperdine as soon as possible but imnot sure how many credits I need and if there are any specific courses:/
@Stephr1324
I’m currently in my spring semester as a freshman at a state university. I have 4.0 and am a business major. I didn’t get scholarship, so I will not be attending Pepperdine sadly (I’m not willing to pay $40-50k a year…). As for merit scholarships, you do not need to apply for them separately. The school automatically looks at every applicant.
Good luck!
@transferready do they give out many merit based scholarships or any for that matter to transfer students really??
@hellomynameiisss The merit based scholarships offered to transfer students are the same as those offered to first year students. All transfer students and first year students are put into the same pool of applicants for them.
