Pepperdine Question...

Hello, first time poster here! I am a current undergrad student and am looking to transfer out after next semester, so I would be starting my new school in the begining of my jr. year.

I was very curious about pepperdine after I visited, and was wondering if anyone here could chime in. I am aware the school is a christian school, but just how religious are we talking? Will I not be able to go to any class without being preached too? From what my advisors tell me Pepperdine is in reach for me. My current GPA is a 3.64, I have a full time job, and I am a member of my school's political science club.

My advisor also reccommended that I check out and apply to Cornell. I found this to be ridicoulous as it is an Ivy, and while my GPA is decent, and I do consider my self smart, I have a hard time believing I could get into such a school, is Cornell really within reach for me? Thanks!
