<p>How should I tackle this? The limit is 300 words. I want to "show and not tell" as college essay advice suggests, but how do I do it in this instance? Should I simply list different situations in which I demonstrated my faith? </p>

Students, faculty, and staff members of all faith traditions are welcome to become part of the Pepperdine University community. Please tell us a little bit about how faith has influenced your life. (50-300 words)</p>

<p>I think you should focus on one (maybe two) examples of how religion has played a strong role in your life. Listing different situations does not seem cohesive. I suggest writing about a main event in your life where religion has helped shape your self-identity. Wish you the best of luck! </p>
