"Pepperdine University is a Christian university committed to the highest standards of academic excellence and Christian values, where students are strengthened for lives of purpose, service, and leadership. How are you prepared to contribute to Pepperdine's mission and community of faith, learning, and service?"

I'm having a tough time on answering this prompt although I have written a few rough drafts with varying information. What I need to know is what is the best way to approach this prompt? There is so much information/questions in the single prompt it is overwhelming! Must I address everything in my answer?

Thanks for any replies

Basically, you need to tell how your talents and interests will contribute to Pepperdine’s mission of service, faith, and learning. It won’t be hard to hit all three of these in a single sweep depending on what you choose to write on.

Hey EndPhrase,

I was struggling with this prompt too… I was too focused on the emphasis on the religious side, but after giving some hard thought, I wrote about my own background and how I will use it to share with the community. I did this since I am an international student from Hong Kong. So I experienced a lot of diversity throughout my boarding school experience.

Though one piece of advice: don’t repeat anything you have written in your main common app essay. Write something else that you haven’t talked about.

Hope this helps:)
