Daughter accepted from N.C. No mention of merit - anyone know if it would be in acceptance letter or if itā€™s sent separately?

Oopsā€¦didnā€™t wait for daughter to read the entire letter :). All financial awards (merit and need-based) will be sent by April 1.

My daughter just received the email offering her the Seaver Scholarship. Iā€™m so happy for her, and of course proud. Sheā€™s still pretty undecided and has some Admitted Students days coming up so April will be interesting!

Tell her to watch a couple seasons of Rising Tide on youtubeā€¦lol. Pretty good Docuseries. They follow 5 Freshman for all 4 years. From day 1 to commencement including study abroad. You get a pretty good idea of Pepperdine from that. Interesting to watch kids change over the 4 years. Great marketing tool.

Thank you for turning me on to Rising Tide! She has watched a few but Iā€™m binging on it. I love these kids! What a great glimpse of all aspects of college life at Pepperdine. Now, if only all of her remaining choices had their own version!
