<p>I heard that Pepperdine University in Malibu, California give full ride scholarships to smart, Church of Christ kids. Is that true?</p>
<p>Pepperdine is pretty generous with scholarship money; they give 22-26k scholarships to the top 10% of admitted students and I believe 10k to well-qualified CoC kids. They also give fairly generous financial aid, random grants (I got a 1k Alumni Grant and a 5k Christian Service Grant), and department based scholarships for athletics and performance majors. I haven’t heard of many people getting full rides from Pepp, but a CoC-affiliated student with good grades can definitely earn a lot of aid. I’m going there this fall, and it’s cheaper for me than commuting to a state school would be! Definitely worth the application. Good luck!</p>
