I am really interested in attending Pepperdine and would love some feedback on if you think my stats are enough! I have a 1220 sat, a 4.0 unweighted gpa. My extra curriculars are sports, a few basic clubs, and I volunteer at the local nursing home. Lastly, I organized a 5k for charity and raised several thousand dollars! If anyone has any feedback or tips on admission let me know! I am a junior in high school btw!
You’re GPA is good, but I think you should raise your SAT score. With your stats I think there is a 50% chance they’ll accept you. Try raising your SAT to the mid 1300s to have a more secure spot.
Pepperdine is also a Christian school, so if you are a part of youth group and re heavily involved you need to mention that on your application.
The essays are also very important. I know someone with a 4.0 GPA and a 1540 SAT score that got rejected because he wrote his essays literally the day the application was due. Spend time on them and make sure they let the admissions officers feel like they know you on a personal level.
Your GPA is really strong. I agree with the person who commented before me but It would be a lot better if you can bring it up to 1400s range. With that gpa and this sat, you could get scholarships and stuff. I just enrolled to pepperdine. Best luck to you
