Percent acceptance at different schools

Does anyone know how the acceptance rates vary between the different schools at GW? I'm debating between applying to the College of Art and Sciences or the School of International Affairs.

If you don't get into the specialized school of your choice (ie you apply to SMPA and don't get in) they defer you into Columbian. I would imagine that the acceptance rates for all the different schools are pretty much equal except SMPA is extremely competitive. You can transfer between schools if it doesn't work out for you, as well as have majors in different schools.

You should apply to the school of your choice. Trust me, you don't want to be paying GW's pricetag not knowing if you'll be able to major in what you actually want to major in. The Columbian College and The Elliot School are very similar as far as admissions is concerned.

Thanks for the info!
