Percent Accepted, Deferred, and Rejected ED?

Hey, does anyone know where I can find the percentage of Penn applicants who apply ED who are deferred and rejected? I know the acceptance rate ED, but I am curious whether or not Penn defers most decent applicants, or whether Penn just rejects most applicants who aren't outstanding.

I'm wondering because I applied ED, and I would honestly be SHOCKED if I were admitted, but I feel like I have a good shot of being deferred. I'm not sure how the numbers generally work out though, so I'd love some info. Thanks!

according to the 2012 stats penn defers around 29%

so basically, 1/3 accepted, 1/3 defers…the rest rejected?

hmmm

it’s a lot better than Stanford - 15% accept, 85% reject

well if it’s 1/3 accept and 1/3 defer…isn’t it just 1/3 reject? (not to be rude)

and yea I guess those odds aren’t too bad…considering those deferred have hope still.

well it’s more like 30% accept, 30% defer, and 40% reject
a slight difference i guess
