Please give me an evaluation of my chances at each school. Your help is greatly appreciated!

I would say you have a good chance at any school you apply to; your class rank and ACT are particularly competitive. Also, the fact that you have college classes under your belt will help. Were they taken at a community college? Since you've taken 9 college classes, you may have sophomore standing if your credits transfer. This could help you to finish college sooner, but I'm not sure how it will affect you in the admissions process...

dude---i would add more reaches to ur list

NU/Wash U/Cornell, ur gonna get into one of these, i believe

u should add prob a Duke, Rice, Dartmouth, or some sort

You are in everywhere.

What about berkeley, can you give me a % chance of getting in there. It's always been my dream school.

Harlem is right...you can basically go wherever you want, assuming you have good essays and recommendations. Focus on those as well as any interviews you plan to do, and you have a 95% chance of getting in anywhere (with the possible exception of HYPS).

can i get some detailed evaluations as to where i should and where i shouldn't apply

Cornell - match
Berkeley - match (OOS)
KU - safety
MIT - reach
Northwestern - match
Georgia Tech - safety
Washington University - match

I would apply to more upper end schools, as you are likely to get into all of those except MIT. I would consider adding a couple reaches with strong tech reputations, such as Stanford and Caltech, as well as another couple reaches (pick 2 more of the Ivies). Carnegie Mellon would be another good choice - it would be a near safety for you and you would like land merit $$$.

rickpaul80:

UCB: Match (out of state)

I agree with stambliark41, although I think you should try to expand the ECs out with a few science fair or math fair competitions. You have the grades and the scores, but you need to show you aren't afraid to compete against others like yourself.

P.S. Your AI is around 229/240, which is upper end--and you've taken the toughest classes. But almost all Ivies are reaches for everybody--as is MIT and Caltech--so like I said, consider what else you can do to expand the list of ECs--and for ideas take a look of some of the other posters on here and their stats--because some of these people will be the ones you will be competing against for the spots at places like Cornell, MIT, and Berkeley.
