<p>Surprisingly, the most heavily Asian class I’m in is the one which isn’t Engineering. </p>
<p>Overall I’d guess the University is abut 15-20% Asian (I’m sure you can look up the actual number if you want), being higher than that in Ross and CoE, and slightly lower than that in LSA. Either way, being the only Asian around is the last thing you’d ever have to worry about.</p>
<p>That being said, the vast majority of those Asians (at least that I’ve met) are Chinese transfer students. The number of American born Asians seems to be much smaller. Not that you’ll have trouble finding some, but there are a lot fewer.</p>
<p>ahh okay. Yea i got accepted into the COE, so happy since its ranked like top 10 in engineering.</p>

<p>Well, I’m sure there is some minimum TOFFEL score they need to be admitted, so there obviously is no one who has no grasp of English. Many you won’t have trouble communicating with in English, a few you might.</p>

<p>You shouldn’t have a problem finding Asian-Americans. They make up the largest percentage of Asians on campus. It really depends on where you’re looking.</p>
