Percentile or Score on Subject Tests?

When reviewing SAT Subject Test scores, do admissions committees consider the percentile along with the actual score. For example, a 750 on Literature is in the 94th percentile, while a 750 on Math II is only in the 75th. Dean J, maybe you can provide some insight. Thanks!

I’m almost 100% sure someon asked this in the admissions chat and Dean Merav said it was scores. I’m pretty sure about this.
Speaking of SAT II’s - I felt like I lost my identity after taking three today. If SAT II’s play a large part of admissions for OOS I can kiss my chances goodbye.

Haha, I took two today. I’m sure you didn’t do that bad. Which ones did you take? Do you already have some subject test scores?

I’ve taken 0 up to this point. I’ve just realized that I basically need them for UVA OOS. I took Lit, Math II, and US History. If I get lucky I could hit 700 or higher on lit and math but that is HIGHLY unlikely. I mean I thought this month was going to be a party if I get into Gtown. Little did I know I’m going to be studying like mad to get 700’s+ on two tests… Uhh life goes on.

HBU?

I took US and Lit. I got a 690 on US in November, so I spent about 6 hours yesterday studying. I think it paid off. I’m hoping for like mid 700s for that. I had a 720 in Lit last time, hoping maybe to improve a little. I realized that I can put off taking a third test, which would be Math II, until January if I get deffered from Gtown. If Gtown accepts me, I’m done with SAT IIs. I’m really hoping I don’t have to take it, because I lost all of my math abilities over the summer. I got a 710 in math on the SAT in May, and then a 620 when I took it again in October!

Lol, I mean I’m going to do a massive study fest the next month. I just need to do well on two and I don’t know if that is going to happen. I honestly got destroyed on the US history.

Scores. (10)

Funny how these tests work. I studied weeks for the Chemistry SAT II, only for a measly 670, yet I didn’t spend a minute on USH, and got a 740. SAT tests are plain nasty, and really don’t test the knowledge as much as they test the way you take tests. All I can say is try your best, but don’t submit any score below 650.
