Dr. G all those school are on my list for now for the most part. I’m still not sure if I want to go to an conservatory or an university. I kind of wanted to double major in screenwriting or print journalism, but idk. I like to have options and not have to transfer if they don’t have my other majors. I just wanted to see if you would guess any schools on my list.

Unfortunately, I have no idea how to discern what colleges have the combination five year programs- could you provide a website that lists them perhaps? Then I could cross-reference them with your other needs!

Ahh!! Earlycollege! I spent a while looking! There were some more of course, but it would take way too long to go on all of the sites needed to find out if they fit all of the qualifications, so I just picked a few that fit. ><

Georgetown. It means 100% need, but not without loans. The campus is spiraling and Gothic (might be your type, might not be). It’s in DC, but it’s pretty disconnected. I’m not really sure of the population but I think it’s around 5,000 students (it’s easy to look this up). I mean, you don’t have to go into DC if you don’t want to. It’s actually right next to the river (uh… I forget which river goes through DC, don’t kill me), but you can’t swim in it. I saw a ton of people sailing, boating, and rowing crew, though. It probably only offers credit for 4s and 5s on certain AP exams. It definitely has prestige. Georgetown is pretty evenly split liberal/conservative because of its Jesuit roots, but DC itself is VERY liberal. I have never heard anything about Georgetown sports, but I don’t pay attention to sports at all. I can’t speak of the professors or research, but you can definitely double major and I’m sure the study abroad options are at least sufficient.

1) is on either the east or west coast (preferably east)
2) has a beautiful campus (ie, great architecture)
3) is near a city / in a city / has city-accessible transportation
4) has an independent major option as well as a French major
5) has study abroad in France (the closer to Normandy the better, but I’m definitely not picky with that one :P)
6) has challenging academics, but not painful
7) has a vibrant social scene
8) has professors who know their students
8) is diverse, where everyone feels welcome
9) has a good-great reputation
10) offers good financial aid
11) has little-no Greek life
