Perfect # of APs per year.

You do realize a school can’t legally stop you from taking the test, just the class. You don’t have to sign up for the test through the school and you don’t have to take the test at your school.

^How do you sign up for the test if not through the school?

9th: 0
10th: 1 (either World or Euro)
11th: as many as you can fit
12th: as many as you can fit

9th - 0
10th - 4
11th - 14
12th - 0

Jozhekry you remind me of LuciferLied

9th grade - not offered at our school
10th grade - AP Spanish, AP Calc AB, AP Bio, AP Chem, APEC
11th grade - AP Calc BC, AP Physics C Mech, APUSH, AP Art History, AP Eng Lang, AP Stats
12th grade - APES, AP Physics C- E and M, APEL Lit, thats all I can take… unless my school adds AP psych or APCS, i wish…

9th grade: If allowed, 2
10th grade: If allowed, 4
11th grade: 6
12th grade: 7

9th - None available/didn’t know about self-studying
10th - 1 (4 w/ self studying)
11th - 4 (5, w/ self-studying)
12th - 4 (total of 10 w/self studying)

Add in AP Stats, which I don’t really know when I’m going to self-study.

TOTAL: minimum of 9, potential max of 20.

If I do my max, it’ll cost over $1500. Lovely.

my school currently:
9th-1
10th-1

11th & 12th- as many as you want

Took 1 sophomore year, and 4 now. Yeah, I’m a fail, considering we have 25 AP classes offered

Ideal:
9th: 12
10th: 12
11th: 0
12th: 0

Mine:
9th: 5
10th: 8
11th: 4
12th: ?

Fr - 1
So - 2
Jr - 4
Sr - 5

Ideally, you should be close to the Fibonacci sequence. eg:
(7th: 0)
8th: 1
9th: 1
10: 2
11: 3
12: 5

My attempt:
9th: 0
10th: 5
11th: 1
12th: 0? maybe 1

^Lol.

10char

9-0
10-0
11-4
12-4

At my school, freshmen never take APs. Sophomores RARELY do. (I think there’s one in my AP Stats class, but that’s about it.) Juniors take about 2-3. Seniors take 4-6.

The majority of my class this year is probably taking at least 3 APs and there are a good number of people taking 6. I personally am taking 4 and a college class. Last year I started with three, but dropped down to 2 because AP Chem was too much for me.

But it’s ridiculous to say that there is a perfect number, because there isn’t. It depends on you, the classes, your school, and the teachers.

9th- What the heck is an Ap?
10th (current)- 3 self studies ( APHG, APES, APysch)
11th- 4 classes (Calc Ab, French Lang, Lang, Bio)
12th- 4 classes (Calc Bc, French Lit, Lit, Chem)

JeSuis, I agree with you! This totally depends on the high school. The HS down the street from me only offers 3! Mine offers 10 but those are only available to juniors and seniors.

I’m not sure if this is your plan or if you’ve already done this, but French Lit no longer exists (I really wish it did). :(

Yeah I know.
My school offers the class…the same material and everything
just like the original Ap French lit course

I think you can sign up on collegeboard
