Perfect Score on PSAT, SAT, and ACT

I’ll dig up this thread in May, if I find out where he ends up.

You also have to know the kid’s GPA. A kid at the local high school got a 2400, but was somewhat of a slacker and didn’t have top grades. He did will, but didn’t get into the most selective schools.

Gee, I wonder if he’s on Naviance. Should be easy to pick him out!

This kid was one of four valedictorians in the class and gave the speech at graduation tonight. He’s going to Harvard.

Pretty impressive. I know a couple of kids that got a perfect SAT at one sitting, but I don’t know their other scores. However, I was most impressed with a kid from our son’s school who got an 800 on the SAT in the math section…in the fifth grade.

Wow!! What amazing stories. I hope they choose to do great things with all their brilliance :)

I couldn’t find the article in the link, but you can get a 800 on the writing section with a 10/12 on the essay. Can also get an 800 with a 9 on the essay. D did…lucky curve.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say they had to “settle” for Harvard.

I had a good friend in high school who did this: [Detroit high school junior receives perfect score on SAT, ACT, and PSAT - Los Angeles college bound | Examiner.com](http://www.examiner.com/article/detroit-high-school-junior-receives-perfect-score-on-sat-act-and-psat)

She was also runner up junior miss Michigan. Go figure :p. She is one of the nicest, most humble people I’ve ever had the pleasure of being friends with.

Besides being class president, he was also on the debate, golf and tennis teams.

I hope this thread helps to dispel the notion that super-high scorers are just “test-taking drones” that are otherwise uninteresting.
