Getting an HDTV as a graduation present. Wanted to know the right size for a double in Broward or Jennings?

Unless you want your room to be the hangout spot, don’t bring one – seriously.

Turn your computer into a tv… don’t bring an actual one…

I have no idea why you WOULDN’T want a TV. Everyone here that doesn’t have win, wishes they do. I would go for 32 inch.

There is no reason to bring a 32 inch tv when you can use the tv on you computer… then you can watch tv without disturbing your roommate. If your comp doesn’t do tv yet, just buy the adapter and get windows media center (free)…

+1 for watching tv on your computer with a tuner card for live stuff and hulu for everything else. most people i know don’t watch much tv in their dorm. they usually watch it in common areas, and since its usually sports, there are more people there and its sometimes more enjoyable.

also, you don’t get HD in dorms. seriously, the signal sucks. unless you’re paying for the special digital TV package from cox in the dorm (if there is on–i’ve never seen anyone with this setup), you’re going to be very disappointed with the signal.

again, the tv signal in the dorms is not anything that could possibly be confused as being HD.

Let’s see how you feel in a year. If you had your own apartment with roommates, I’d agree that at least one TV is a necessity, but there’s just too much to do in a dorm setting to warrant one.
