I don't know about the rest of you, but once in a while when i browse this site i long to see a normal student. About 99% of students posting chance threads look spectacular on paper. I want to open up a bulletin one time and not see students with gpas uw of 3.8-4.0 and 15 aps. My school doesnt even offer ap courses. I would also love to see the students who have sat's in the average range, not over 2100 with 750's on all subject tests.
Many people on here also think that you must go to an Ivy or other top 20 school. I want to know what happened to looking for a school that matches you perfectly. Where you are comfortable and have no regrets.
Does anyone else ever get tired of this repetition?

I think it's a tired notion on this site.

Even if you're not stellar, we all have high hopes and ambitions also.

Hmmm, well if most of the applicants fit the rather strong academic profile as the one listed above then generally their academic equal would fall in the range of a high caliber college that falls into the top tier.

With that said, yeah the stats of all applicants can become rather repetitive overy time, but you learn to realize that those students who are drawn to CC are the top students and you generally won't see much outside high quality success. Nonetheless, not having perfect stats myself I see where you're coming from but this something you just adapt to until apparently second tier caliber students and below are willing to step up and share their story.
