<p>I had horrible perfectionism in 8th grade. Whenever I wrote a word or letter, if it wasn’t “perfect,” I’d have to erase it. Homework would take hours, but then I completely changed when it was literally impossible to do that in high school!</p>
<p>Perfectionism is more of a self-learning experience I guess, and learning to accept who you are. Eventually you’ll wake up and learn that no one can obtain perfection, and it is a waste to strive towards something that is impossible.</p>
<p>I tried being a perfectionist for a couple days, then gave up. My laziness won out.</p>
<p>Perfectionism quite literally is killing you OP, anorexia is usually fatal.
You could speed things up a bit if you really want to though.</p>
