Perfectionist question for UC App!

Alright, so on the coursework listings it says to put college courses in lower case letters. Here are the directions word for word: "Use lower-case letters and abbreviate course titles to 30 characters (i.e., "Critical Reasoning and Writing Literature" becomes "critical reas & writing lit")."

It looks kind of weird but that's what the directions say, so should I leave them in all lowercase or At Least Type Them With First Letter Capitalized? What did you all do?

e.g. For something like US History would I put "US History" or "us history"?

Bump this up...

Yeah, that looks sort of weird to me too, but I would do what it says to do, especially since it provides an example.

if they tell you how to do it, and give examples, you should probably do it that way.

lol i didn't catch that phrase at all.

hmm. i'm not a computer wiz, but my guess on the reasoning behind this is to minimize server traffic, since capital letters take up more bit size.

what if you capitalize letter? will they dock you points for that?

i dont think incorrectly capitalizing the letter will determine if you get into berkeley or not.....

i'd like to know if we have to capitalize too..I thought it was just for courses that were over the 30 char mark.

wait isnt that only if your course title is more than 30 characters?
