Perhaps a Stupid Question

This weekend I participated in a Model United Nations conference that Penn runs. I won a small award, a "verbal commendation." It is tough to get an award at the conference, but then again, the one I got is kind of lower-level.

My question: would it be to my advantage to notify penn of this award? Does penn even care at all now that they're already processing apps? Would it just irritate them? Or would it show my interest in the school and my respect for their activities?

Thanks for your help

hmm that is tough one. it could go either way really. but i would notify them if i were you.

woo ilmunc

honestly, it won't make much difference, but can't hurt

and penn doesn't technically run it, just we students, so it's a little bit different than, for example, participating in a penn competition for robotics

it wouldn't hurt i guess, but probably wouldn't help much either, especially cuz they are already so busy dealing with the applications now.
