Perhaps one of you transfer students can help me.

I am a CA community college student and was wondering how theUCLA GPA is calculated. Is it your gpa for all UC-transferable courses? or do they use a different formula. I also wanted to know how your major gpa is calculated. Isn't it your gpa (in my case) of all the pre-reqs you have done i mean like the courses listed at assist.org for you major?

Your UCLA GPA is all UC-transferrable courses. You major GPA is the pre-reqs for your desired major.

UCLAri, could u read this thread and tell me if my UCLA counselor is wrong, or has wrong information. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=195663

I haven't seen your transcript, but it's possible your counselor made a mathematical error.

Oh, and you'll never get work compensation. That's silly.
