hey guys,
I am a permanent resident who arrived to USA like 1 years and 6 months ago being a senior this year I applied to college at Gatech as a permanent resident but now when I check my application status it shows me as an international freshman. So that has been bothering me because now instead of being PR I am a international student paying for fee and other stuff.

Also Since being a permanent resident would they consider me with the other US citizens because being from India I haven't been good with English Grammer part and have blown up my ACTs and SATs twice with a low score so Can you guys help me with that too.

Your help is highly appreciated.

You need to contact GA Tech and ask about their specific policies. As a legal permanent resident (green card status), you are a domestic applicant when it comes to financial aid. If you are a resident of GA, you qualify for in-state tuition and fees. However, since you have not completed all of your high school years here, the International Student Office might also be involved in evaluating your academic records. You also will probably be expected to take the TOEFL or another English proficiency exam.

If you are a permanent resident, ie., you don’t need a visa, you need to contact GATech as happymom said ^and have them rectify the problem.
If you mean that you want to be considered for in-state tuition because you’ve lived in Georgia for 18 months : you can’t qualify for in-state tuition if you need a J or F visa. Your parents must be working in the State.
If you had trouble with English, take the TOEFL since this may offset your CR and W scores.
