If you enroll in student center in a course but it says permission required only in the Cornell catalogue course descriptions, but not in the student center descriptions do you still need permission? The enrollment and add went through ok but is a form still needed???

No, once it’s added you’re good.

sometimes professors might kick you out of a class if the reason for “permission required” is something like “juniors/seniors only” or “no freshmen”

Why doesn’t it say it on the course description about no freshman.

professors are free to kick out freshman if there are upperclassmen who need the course more than you do! (:

When do they kick you out?

What if the permission is based on space limitations? Even though they have a cap no for the class?

a professor cant enroll more students than seat available…

resurgam:

not necessarily. many upper level classes which tend to have smaller class sizes expand their roster and get a new room for a few more students wanting to take the class.
