In my appointment materials it stated I would receive my permit to report package by April 15th. Do they all go out at the same time or are they sent randomly. I have been looking for mine, but it has not arrived. Thanks

I've been keeping an eye out for mine as well, although I'm pretty sure last year a friend of mine didn't recieve his till mid May. So I'm not expecting anything real soon.

Do you have to have sent in all of your materials (dental records, police check, etc.) before they send the permit to report?

Yeah, I sent in my Birth Certificate, Police Check, and I just got my wisdom teeth pulled for the Academy (currently swollen like a chipmunk!). I'll be sending my dental panerox(sp) within the next two weeks.

I haven't heard anything yet, not even a confirmation about sending my other stuff in. Am I supposed to hear from them?

I sent everything that was requested in within 3 days. I received my original birth certificate back from the Academy within a week. I figure they got all of it including my dental x-rays. I have been hesitate to contact the Academy directly. I guess I will wait. When 4/15 passes and no permit to report, I will call.

Same here.

I guess I'm just anxious. Been waiting all this time, I'm just ready to get there haha!

Is it unusual not to have received any word (or returned birth certificate) over three months after sending in all the paperwork? I have not heard anything since I sent my acceptance certificate, record check, body alterations, panorex, etc., so I don't even know for sure whether they received it.

Hm, I would give them a call, and update your BGO too.

I think alot of us are having this problem.

I know my parents got the appointment letter, but maybe not the Permit to Report? God, it is such a pain trying to get things done from school when they are being mailed at home. I wish I had them mail it to me at school.... T_T

Keep in mind this year may be different, but last year, <disclaimer> most PTR packages came the 2nd and 3rd week of April. </disclaimer>

Cheers to you all!

Yes, my recollection is that those PTR packets are batch mailed, most at one time in April, not "rolling" per admissions.

"Do you have to have sent in all of your materials (dental records, police check, etc.) before they send the permit to report?"

Don't think PlebeWannaBe's question was answered. I'm wondering the same thing. All of my son's acceptance paperwork, except the dental panorex, has been returned to Admissions. (I did call to confirm they've received it.) We haven't sent the panorex yet because he's getting his wisdom teeth out on May 1st... will send the panorex after that's done. Will this delay the Permit to Report?

I'm wondering the same thing as 2012MomInPA

I actually got someone else's birth certificate mailed to me by mistake. So admissions is at least mailing them back (though apparently not always to the right owner). I sent it back to admissions-hopefully it will make it's way back home...

The package will not be mailed out till after May 1st. This is directly from admissions when I went on my CVW.

a little off topic and kind of a stupid question but is the appointment letter part of the permit to report?

No. They appointment letter comes way before the package. You only get the package if you get the letter first.

I do not believe it is. I have not even received my "appointment" package. Even though I've gotten multiple phone calls and e-mails saying that I received an appoitment and have cleared up all my medical, the actual letter has yet to arrive...any information on how long it takes?

I was appointed on March 4 and my appointment arrived in the mail on March 10 including the blue folder w/ Certificate of Appointment, Police Record Check, and the forms needed to accept. It was mailed to Florida.

I think I figured out what is taking so long. Even though I had an "appointment", it wasn't official without being medically Q'd. The medical waiver was given 3 April, but my admission status wasn't changed until 9 April. Maybe it was mailed out after the ninth. I called (paranoia set in about not turning in papers on time) and was told that if I had not received anything by 15 April to call back and it would be taken care of. Thanks for the info, maybe I will be able to calm down a little now. :) Oh, by the way where in Florida do you live? I reside in the glorious state of Alabama and live about 5 min. from the FL line.
