Person A vs Person B

Gosh I love doing these threads. Its all just for my own personal edification

Person A:
780M
710V
1490 Total

Person B:
750V
710M
1460 Total

Any opinions? Oh who am I kidding - everyone on this thread has opinions!! So please share them!

If it was JUST based on SAT scores, then Person B. High math, low verbal is too hackneyed.

Agree with theoneo, but it should be something like:

Person A
780 M
710 V

Person B
710 M
780 V

Now which one would get in?

Oh my gosh I love the word hackneyed!! Synonyms include trite, banal, cliche and platitudinal!! Look what the SATs have done to me! Anyway sr6222, I made it the way I did for a reason. The point is that the first person has a higher combined score, but a lower verbal score. In your comparison its Person B all the way.

The higher verbal score would get in...the 1460 I mean.

what the hey though, all you have to do is have 800 on the math, and an 800 on the verbal....tadah! No more problems.
