I was the Times Person of the Year in 2006.

Should I put this on my college application, or is it a little... well... ostentatious?

well, it probably won't be very unique.
considering, well, we all were.

But if I'm the only one to put it...

What if I include a picture of me on the cover of Time?

haha...this is really funny. My friend I were just talking about putting that on our apps for internships this summer. She put it on hers because she was bored and thought it was funny, but then forgot to take it off and sent it in. We'll see how it ends up...

Also, I think that putting your picture on a cover of a Time issue would be very funny. I don't think it would hurt, and it would probably make you stand out.

If you have other good awards to back it up, then it's funny. otherwise, it's lame.

lol, i put that in a required supp. part for a college (i basically made a collage with a bunch of stuff but that was part of it)

I totally considered doing that. I think I ended up putting it in my Claremont McKenna essay, because I decided I didn't really care if I got in or not.

The admissions committees will probably think it's funny the first time; maybe not so much the ninenty-second...
