ARGH HELP PLEASE?

ahhhh nevermind...

does anyone know if it's really bad to complete the housing application the day after it's due?

most of it was done and i've already submitted my fee, it's just the sisweb thingy that wasn't finished

If you don't complete the housing application on time you forfeit your guaranteed housing. Call UCD housing ASAP on Monday morning. If you don't have guaranteed housing you need to get on the waitlist ASAP so that you have a good waitlist number. In the meantime, complete your housing application. I believe your PAC number is initially set to your birthday (MMDDYY), and then you are required to change it when you log in.

Be sure to call housing on Monday to see about your housing status, and if you don't have guaranteed get on the waitlist. A lot of students miss out on guaranteed housing at the various UC's because of missed deadlines. My son was on the housing waitlist at UCSD a few years ago because he got in on appeal after the housing deadline. They took a hardline saying that for whatever reason if you miss the deadline, you don't have housing. He didn't find out he got a dorm until a week before school started. His roommate was also on the waitlist because he missed the housing deadline.

I'm pretty much in the same situation :(

The office of the University Registrar handles the PAC. Please see http://registrar.ucdavis.edu/faq/sisweb/system.html#pac or contact their office to handle any issues with the number.
