Personal expenses.

I am an international student planning on joining Macalestor Fall this year and have a full scholarship to cover tuition board and room. I am worried that I do not have enough information about other and personal costs apart from health insurance( 2.4k) that I have to pay. The college has sent me an estimate of 2k for this but is it enough? How much will I need to spend in order to live off campus for the two weeks in winter when college is closed. I am not a big spender. Will appreciate any estimate however crude.
