Personal Experience/Advice

I am a second semester Junior with a 3.82 accum, GPA who really goofed up last semester. I received a D+ in Algebra 2, the fruits of, well, let's say unsatisfactory labor. I also earned a C+ in AP Chem 2. My first C, let alone D. I plan on turning this around, and have already made good progress, with B+ in both classes currently (all As in my others). About 80% of my schedule is weighted, with 2 classes being AP. I am very worried that this D+ will prove to be detrimental, simply because it is a D. I had planned on attending Indiana University, but I am not too familiar with how they deal with grades on a singular level.

I've also known plenty of people who got into IU with many Cs, and less rigorous schedules than I, one in particular last year who had a 3.0. Of course, he may or may not have had a D.

I guess my question is, should I be this nervous about it?
