Personal message or?

Got this from Babson is it a personal message or just another mail dump

Thank you for your continued interest in Babson College. We were hoping to receive your application by our Regular Decision deadline as we were looking forward to getting to know you during our review process.

Therefore, I wish to extend a special offer to you. Given the challenges of the current financial environment, I do not want the application fee to be a deterrent in your decision to apply. Therefore, I would like to waive our application fee of $65.00 and extend the deadline to submit your Common Application online until this Thursday, January 21, 2010. When we receive your application, we will mark your fee as waived in our system and provide you with a timeline for submitting your other application materials.

If you have submitted your application already and believe you have received this email in error, you may verify receipt of your application by logging into your My Babson account at http://my.babson.edu or contacting our office:

What difference does it make? If you want to go to Babson, take them up on their offer. If not interested, don’t bother.

We get quite a few of these, but Northstarmom mom gave you good advice.
