<p>Did anyone else get a note on their letter about anything? Mine specifically commented on my supplemental essay. I thought that was really neat.</p>

I think that is what they did for all of the early notified applicants.</p>

<p>Mine said to bring my talents (I dont really have any lol) to bowdoin and keep up the good work.
Only my Williams College had a personal note before Bowdoins. The notes add a nice touch though</p>
<p>DS’s acceptance letter also had a personal note …hoping to see him on campus in August. He thought it was very cool; first handwritten note he has received.</p>
<p>Handwritten likely/early letters are the new thing. I know girls who’ve gotten them from Smith and Wellesley recently.</p>
<p>They’re definitely impressive. My Williams one looked like it was typed up 
lol</p>
