Sorry if this question has been asked before, but how soon into a 4-dig’s year can he/she bring in a personal possession like a guitar? I’m not even sure if this is allowed, but I’ll leave that for the pros to answer =)

Don't bring it on I-day, but I would think that it would be good to bring something like that on Parent Weekend.

hey dude...

check out this previous thread...

Ok...so can my cadet have a laptop we are a MAc family so can she have a MAC laptop after BCT or does USAFA supply the computer?

She'll be issued a computer (it won't be a Mac).

Some do use personal Mac's but they will be issued a tablet PC

another question... can we have computers sent to us (or brought at parents weekend) to leave at our sponsors' house?

You'll basically be married to your issued laptop. I say leave everything else at home... you really have no need for it. And if you desperately need a Mac, you can download Mac settings onto your computer (that's what I did and now my little fugitsu is pretty legit).

I know a bunch of cadets here who have personal computers here too. Mainly 4-digs. ;)
