Personal statement help

Hi,
One of the prompts for the UC personal statement is:"Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations."

Any tips on how to tackle this?
Could the world I come from be as specific as my bedroom?
Is it best to include your career/academic goals?

I think it would be silly to say that you come from the world of your bedroom. They want to know more about important things that shaped your life. Yes you can include your academic or career goals–they do bring up your dreams and aspirations.
