Hello,

I seem to have come across a major problem in answering prompt 1 (intended major) as I am applying to a different major at each campus. Does any one have any pointers or advice as to how I can find a resolution?

Applying to: UCLA, UCB, UCSD, UCD and UCSC

Russian Studies, Central European Langs and Lit for alternate (ucla)
Slavic languages and literatures (ucb)
Russian (ucd)
russian and soviet studies (ucsd)
politics (ucsc)

Looking at the above majors, it is easy to deduct that the intended major at santa cruz sticks out like a sore thumb.

The reason: ucsc politics major is very unique and different from political science programs elsewhere which is why I am applying to go (and why I am not applying for pol sci at any other campus). Also, UCSC does not have a russian or slavic language/studies concentration/major otherwise I would have applied for that to make things easier.
