Personal statement vs. Autobiographical statement

<p>Hey guys!
I tried asking in other subforum but I'm guessing here's more appropriate.
Anyone know the difference between a personal statement (the essay) and an "autobiographical statement"?
I'm supposed to write the latter one and I'm thinking if I don't figure it out soon, I'm doomed. And no one likes to be doomed during the holidays.</p>

<p>I've never heard of a Personal Statement vs. Autobiographical Statement. I thought they were the same.</p>
