<p>When I was a child, around 3-4 years old, I came to California from Chicago to live with my grandma without my parents. I had to be independent and do everything myself. My grandma told me if i did well in school, I wouldn't have to be like my parents and be departed from my love ones. This is my motivation to succeed in school.</p>
