<p>My GPA is low for the school I am applying to, therefore they state if this is the case - send in a personal statement along with my application and other documents. </p>

<p>My question is, how long should the personal statement be? I am pretty sure it should not be more than a page. I was guessing maybe half a page at most? Any input? Thank you for your time.</p>

<p>Edit: I tried to do a search on this topic before I made this and the forum was giving me an error. If this has been discussed to death then let me know, I'll just try to do a search again later when the forum is working properly.</p>

<p>Simple answer: As long as it needs to be. If it's good all the way through, and doesn't get boring, it doesn't really matter how long it is. You'll know it's done when you can't take any more out of it.</p>

<p>No more than a page is the right answer. If you can say it in less, do so. If you would like a review and comment, I am happy to. PM me.
