<p>I'm applying to UC Davis as a managerial econ, Uc Irvine as a Business Econ and UC Riverside as a Business Admin (although this shouldn't matter as much). How should I state my intended major in my personal statement if they are all a little different?</p>
<p>I guess it all falls under a general heading of business/economics. I would just focus on your personal attraction to that field, including any relevant experience of course, rather than tailoring your statement to the discussion of each individual major. This is definitely a preferable dilemma compared to those people applying to philosophy, history, and urban planning all in the same application =] hope that helped!</p>
<p>I’m applying to UCLA as a Biz-econ, UCI as a Biz-econ, UCSB as an Econ and Accounting, and I’ll be saying “business economics”–especially since my essay has much to do with business AND economics tied together. If I were in your situation, I’d put Business Econ because the post above mine makes a good point.</p>
