Personality test

It took about 10 minutes to take. It says I'm an INTZ. I'm going into engineering, and it says that's a good field for the way I think.

INTZ: Introversion (I): Quiet, Reflective
Intuition (N): Concrete, Trend Setting
Thinking (T): Rational, Analytic, Competitive
Organizing (Z): Reliable, Deliberate, Conforming, Open-Ended

Here's the link: MyRoad - I.D. Me

INFZ: Introversion, Intuition, Feeling, Organizing

INFZs are reserved, modest, imaginative, and neat. As an INFZ you are particularly concerned with expressing and living up to your beliefs and values and with developing an emotional understanding of the world around you. You strive for harmony and peace in all areas of life. You value learning, integrity, and personal growth. You believe that life is a puzzle and that it is your challenge to solve it.

I’ve done these… Mine is INTP

Introverted
iNtuitive
Thinking
Perceiving

It’s actually a really good personality match based on the description they give for it.

I’m going into the legal profession, hopefully the academic side of it. It’s not a great match if I end up practicing but for academia it’s good.

I got a result of INTZ.

This personality test is completely wrong. I mean, when I see stuff like this:

I get the urge to roll my eyes. Strategy is not my strong point - I suck at chess.

Chess hardly requires strategic thinking – it’s all about knowing chess theory and calculating the best moves. It’s similar to a Rubik’s cube in that it’s not nearly as intellectual as people think it is – cube-solving is actually extremely easy for someone who knows the algorithms. (And chess is easy for someone who has memorized key lines in opening theory and played long enough to recognize patterns.)

ENTA - Extraverting, Intuiting, Thinking, Adapting

ENTAs are forceful, direct, driven, and adventurous. As an ENTA you place significant importance on your ability to solve complex, abstract challenges through analysis and mental effort. You value intellectual independence above all. You are willing to consider new information and differing points of view only when you think it strategically advantageous to do so.

It sounds awful of me, but it is very true…hahaha.

I’m going into Graphic Design and Computer Science…I think it’s a good fit.

This may help some of you as well, as the CollegeBoard one doesn’t have professions really listed verbatim.

http://www.goldenllc.com/pdf/GoldenCareers08.pdf

Just sounds like a rip-off of Myers-Briggs to me.

For what it’s worth, I’m an INTP.

^ Yeah, it is a really bad rip-off of it. I can’t get into the CollegeBoard version since I forgot my login, but I’m an INFJ.

I’m an ENTP according to Myers-Briggs.

ENFZ

Extraversion (E): Outgoing, Participative
Intuition (N): Trend Setting
Feeling (F): Analytic
Organizing (Z): Reliable

Pretty good, sounds exactly like me.

According to Myers-Briggs I’m ENFP, according to College Board I’m ENFA.

Extraversion (E): Talkative, Intrepid, Outgoing, Participative
Intuition (N): Abstract, Innovative, Visionary, Trend Setting
Feeling (F): Empathetic, Compassionate, Warm
Adapting (A): Open-Ended, Casual, Spontaneous, Non-Conforming

Sounds right.

ENTA…extraverting, intuiting, thinking, adapting.

Why not just use MBTI?

GoldenCareers, bollocks!

I’m INTP.

For those who have taken the MBTI, did you pay $150 for it?

^ No, there are online tests for it.

I took a clinical version as part of a high school class.

Extraversion (E): Talkative, Intrepid, Outgoing, Participative
Intuition (N): Abstract, Innovative, Visionary, Trend Setting
Feeling (F): Empathetic, Compassionate, Warm, Nurturing
Organizing (Z): Conforming, Open-Ended, Spontaneous

Spot on in most cases (:

^OP, this link you gave to the collegeboard extension site is paid subscription! How’d all u guys manage to do this INTP test? :)

Here’s a free, online version of a MBTI

However, online tests are really just what I like to call the “training wheels” of typology. If you’re interested in more, PM me.
