<p>^ It would depend on the speciality of the law degree and the country the degree is from. No US company needs an expert in criminal law in Uruguay, but big corporations might have a need for someone familiar with the business laws of another country.</p>

<p>And no, you cannot work as a paralegal unless you are already a permanent resident or citizen. Since paralegal assistants don’t require a Bachelor’s degree, the job does not qualify for a work visa. (To get an H-1B, your position needs to require a Bachelor’s degree, and you need to have that degree.) There are other types of work visas (e.g. visas for agricultural workers or for intra-corporate transfers of multinational corporations) but they are temporary and would not allow you to immigrate.</p>

<p>What are the chances for postgraduate education after law school in Europe? I know than there is no problem whit economy, but what are the chances whit law?</p>
