Perspectives, Please =D

Thanks in advance! I might apply ED (it's pretty much between Duke and Cornell...)

Engineering School: Major in Civil and Environmental Engineering: I love physics and I do lots of environmental work.

GPA-3.84 (3.5 Freshman Year, 4.0s sophomore and junior years) All A's in Science and Math classes: just a lot of Bs in music theory/art (required classes at my school)
rank-10/50 (I know. It's pretty bad.) There's no grade inflation though
Most rigorous courseload. No AP classes though...we don't have them at my school.
Asian female.

Test scores:
SAT-2220
690 CR
780 Math
760 with a 12 essay.

770 Math II
??? Physics (I'm taking that in November)

I took the ACT last Saturday so I'll see how that one goes. I'm irrationally hoping for a 33-34 but it'll probably be between a 30-32

ECs (not that many...but, hey, I work hard at each of them)
Speech and Debate: 4 years
-state champion, finalist in 3 events
-there's lots and lots of speech and debate awards

Volunteer Work
-president of a charity group that raises money for victims of natural disasters: 6 years
I'm going to put down about 800 hours, but there's really around 1200 I guess.

-co-founded an environmental group: and I've won a lot of awards for "entrepreneurship" through this group: 5 years, 4 hours a week

other Random Awards/Honors/Things I did
-Girls State
-top 10% AZ state math contest
-national merit commended scholar
-biomedical research organization award
-ASU robotics summer camp
-Yamaha Piano Graduate: I passed enough exams to become a piano teacher
-I finished the entirety of the math Kumon with lots of awards

Recs: One of my teachers really loves me...so that should be really good. The other one wil probably be okay.

I don’t really have any information other than that my D currently attends Duke and I can perhaps compare your profile to hers. My D also had some B’s and she had a lot of EC’s with leadership. The main difference I see is that my D had a much higher CR score on the SAT. Can you possibly take it again and try to increase your score?
