Persuing degree in Urban Design, what to do for BA?

Hello!

Please excuse the noob-ness, but this is my first time on this website.

Anyways, I am very interested in getting a major in Urban Design. I live in Florida, and only FAU has a BA in Urban Design. I'm already dually enrolling there and the school isn't a great one. I already have a grad school picked out: Savannah College of Art and Design. The issue is, I don't know where to go (preferably in state) for my Bachelors. It seems that only two schools in the nation have Urban Design Programs for undergrad. What should I do for my bachelors that will help me get into a grad program for Urban Design? Should I do architecture? Or just stick with FAU?

Thanks!!!

Bryn Mawr Cities major can be taken from either Bryn Mawr or Haverford.

Students who go into Urban Planning have a wide range of undergraduate backgrounds. The point is to get the best education you can at a college/university that fits you socially and academic. Get exposure to a variety of disciplines – whatever interests you.

Urban Planning is influenced by so many areas of study – art history, art studio, environmental science, economics, geology, marine biology, sociology, political science, history. You really can’t go wrong as long as you push yourself to learn new things.

In four years you may still feel the same way about UP at Savannah, you may choose a different masters program, you may change your mind about urban planning. So keep your options open.
